What the name stands for

Nordic. Hockey. Academy.

N

Nordic

A modern, well-structured Scandinavian educational philosophy. We invest in developing the individual as a person — not just as a "hockey product" — building a correct self-image, patience for long-term development and the daily habits that create results.

H

Hockey

Highly educated coaches with international experience and the pedagogical competence to guide future athletes. A professional development plan covering every major area: on-ice team and skills training, strength & conditioning, mental training and game performance.

A

Academy

High school graduation with good results is the academic goal. The coaching language is English — preparing players for the international hockey world, and to combine a career with university studies as true student-athletes.

On the ice

Team practice & skills sessions.

Team practice

  • Full team on the ice 4–5 times a week
  • Max 60–75 min sessions for top intensity and quality
  • Pre- and post-training meetings in the locker room
  • 11 on-ice habits every player masters in every drill
  • "20 C" concept for daily training challenge
  • Weekly position coaching for goalies, defencemen and forwards

Morning skills sessions

  • Up to 3–4 individual morning sessions per week
  • Skating, puck handling and shooting development
  • High repetitions with focus on correct technique
  • A pleasant, "pressure free" platform to work out
  • Hockey IQ — breaking the game into parts
  • Video analysis and on-ice skills testing
Game performance

Modern transition hockey.

We believe in high-intensity transition hockey — dictating tempo and puck possession. Players are coached towards international hockey: a modern mix of European and North American style. Every game is filmed and analysed, and each player gets individual feedback during and after games.
